Undergraduate classes inthe commerce department are being run in the college since 1957 and postgraduate classes since 1969. The research center was established in 2001, atpresent 10 research scholars are registered, B.Com and M.Com classes areconducted here, 1 professor and 9 assistant professor posts are approved in thecommerce department, against which at present 5 regular assistant professorsare appointed. is employed. Presently about 1500 students are studying in theDepartment of Commerce, 4 small research projects have been approved from thisdepartment and various students have got employment from this department.
